Hi (with my Louisville, Kentucky accent),

My name is Michelle Huber and welcome to my blog. I started blogging to keep people updated on what I’m doing and learning, hoping others can take away from my experiences.

Here’s a little bit about me…

In May 2010, I graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington with a degree in Tourism Management. Tourism Management helped me learn more about all the things I love (including marketing, planning, travel, and working with people) and how to turn them into a career.  I am very thankful for my experience at IU. Go Hoosiers!

I started my career in July 2010 as a Project Manager at Makespace, an interactive agency in Louisville, Kentucky. Working at Makespace taught me the importance of  web development, technology, and the impact it has on people’s daily lives around the world.

In June 2011, I was offered the opportunity to be Fuzzy Zoeller’s Personal Assistant and the Director of Marketing at his two golf courses, Covered Bridge Golf Club & Champions Pointe Golf Clubs. I’ve always wanted to work in the golf industry and this was the perfect opportunity for me. This career has allowed me to apply all the skills I have previously learned about growing a business. I can honestly say, I LOVE my job and what I do.

While my career is very important to me, so is my faith, husband, family, friends, traveling, exercising and new adventures. I always make time for these things, too.

Everyday I learn more than I can imagine and just when I think I can’t possibly learn anymore, I learn 20 more new things that day. The best part of learning is being able to share it with others. I hope you learn something new from my blog.
